Dr.  Alan R. Wood

CV Highlights

A few highlights from my C.V..

  • Obtained PhD. in 1986.
  • Worked on the computers that control aircraft simulators.
  • Keen cyclist, walker and traveller.
  • Spent nearly 10 years working as a research associate (space science) at the world famous Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire.
  • Loves all aspect of working with computers.
  • VSO volunteer as Senior Lecturer at Damaturu Polytechnic, Nigeria. (Voluntary Service Overseas)
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education specialising in ICT at the secondary level.
  • VSO volunteer IT teacher/teacher trainer at Queen's College and Bartica Secondary School, Guyana
  • Worked as an IT tutor in Offender Learning environment.
  • Co-authored an IT text book, 'Information Technology for CSEC Examinations', available at all good book shops.
  • Taught ICT in the community.
